Jeff Campbell first saw the value of hard work early on as a teen who constantly ranked in the top percentile of tennis players in North Carolina. He played singles, doubles, and mix-doubles, and was a top player in New York, California, and Connecticut as well. Through hard work and dedication to excellence, he eventually became ranked as high as number one in the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and also gained a national ranking of number three in the American Tennis Association (ATA). Fresh out of college, Jeff got his first job in media by securing a position of cameraman at a local television station in Durham, NC. He left Durham to continue to pursue his career in New York where he worked on various projects at CBS, NBC, ABC, MTV, and FOX. While in New York, he also worked on five small independent films and one feature film. Eventually, he moved out to California to pursue a career in film as a screenwriter. It was in California where he fell in love with the teaching profession. He has worked at private schools in CA, NY, CT, and NC teaching English, Social Studies, and Screenwriting. Obviously, he has also been an outstanding High School tennis coach at these various schools where he has won numerous championships and coach of the year honors. Presently, Jeff gives private lessons to various clients from kids, to young adults, to older moms and dads. He is just finishing a nine year stint as a middle and high school English teacher. He has also discovered that he can sing and has performed at two weddings and been the front man in a band. He is also writing a book titled, “The Last Hit of the Century.” He dreams of getting his book published sometime next year.
